- How do I get from Barcelona Airport to Figueres without a car?
- Sagalés runs a coach from El Prat that finishes at Figueres bus station after stopping in Girona. By rail you need a change in Barcelona: the R11 regional stops at Figueres station in the town centre, whereas high-speed trains use Figueres-Vilafant, roughly 1.5 km out, which Teisa links to the centre with a shuttle bus. Timetables vary through the year, so check them before you travel.
- We're going to the Peralada festival – can you take us to Peralada rather than Figueres?
- Yes. Peralada lies about 7 km from Figueres, and in July and August its castle hosts the Castell de Peralada Festival of opera, dance and concerts. Book the transfer to wherever you're actually sleeping – a hotel in Figueres, a rural house nearby or Peralada itself – and the fixed price is calculated for that address. Festival tickets are bought separately from the organisers.
