Tossa de Mar lies about 103 km north of Barcelona Airport, a 75–90 minute drive on the AP-7 and, for the final stretch, the winding coastal GI-682 road from Lloret. It is a Costa Brava gem: the Vila Vella, the only walled medieval quarter still preserved on the Catalan coast, crowns a turquoise cove. We drop you as close as possible to the old town.

- Is there a bus from Barcelona Airport to Tossa de Mar?
- Yes. Moventis Sarfa line 2 runs from Barcelona Airport (T1 and T2) via Barcelona Nord and Lloret de Mar to Tossa's bus station. Tossa has no railway – the nearest station is Blanes, linked to Tossa through Lloret by the local L69 bus. Departures are limited, so check the current timetable before relying on it, especially for a late-evening landing.
- We're staying at Cala Pola or Cala Giverola, north of Tossa – do you go there?
- Yes. Both coves lie off the GI-682 coast road towards Sant Feliu de Guíxols, roughly 4–5 km beyond Tossa, with the Cala Pola campsite and the Zel Costa Brava resort between them. The driver takes you to the reception you name, so put the campsite or hotel name, not just 'Tossa de Mar', in your booking.
