- Can I get from Barcelona Airport to the Costa Brava by public transport?
- Partly. Moventis Sarfa coaches connect El Prat and Barcelona Nord with many resorts – Lloret, Tossa, Sant Feliu, Platja d'Aro, Palafrugell, Begur, L'Escala, Roses and Cadaqués among them – while Sagalés covers Girona and Figueres. Trains reach Blanes, Girona and Figueres, but most coastal villages have no railway at all. For the smaller coves expect at least one change, and check current timetables.
- How big is the Costa Brava – is my town really 'near Barcelona'?
- It covers around 220 km of coastline, from the Sa Palomera rock in Blanes up to Portbou on the French border. Blanes and Lloret are the closest resorts to El Prat; Roses and Cadaqués, at the northern end beyond Figueres, are a much longer drive. That's why journey time and the fixed price depend on your exact address rather than on 'Costa Brava' as a whole.
