About this route
Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig are the eastern end of Grandvalira, right on the French border, and the point in Andorra furthest from Barcelona Airport: 228 km and about 3 h 24 without traffic. The CG-2 keeps climbing past Encamp, Canillo and Soldeu to the top of the Envalira pass; Grau Roig sits just below it on the Andorran side. Before the border the driver picks between the C-16 with the Cadí Tunnel and the C-14, based on road conditions. Tolls are included in the fixed price, the Cadí one among them at €14.56 for a car in 2026.

Ski groups staying in the Pas apartments, travellers after the liveliest après-ski end of Grandvalira, families with bulky kit, and anyone landing late who does not want another connection between the airport and the snow.
Practical tips
It is the longest run of the corridor, so build in margin both ways and book early in high season. Passport or ID card at hand: Andorra is outside the EU and outside Schengen, and checks are more common leaving than entering. If it snows on the pass, allow 30–45 minutes over the usual running time; the fixed price does not change because of it. Skis and boards travel as special equipment: €15 per set per passenger, with a limit per vehicle — one set in a saloon, two or three in a minivan, four or more in a van. Tell us how many sets you are carrying when you book: if they do not fit, we quote the larger vehicle before you pay, never after. Child seats are on request for a supplement from €4, never included — tell us the ages when you book.

- Why does Pas de la Casa cost more than Andorra la Vella?
- Because it is the far end of the country: the CG-2 keeps climbing past Encamp, Canillo and Soldeu up to the French border, so it is the longest run of the corridor. The price is fixed and shown before you pay, whichever route the driver takes.
- Do I need my passport for this trip?
- Yes. Andorra is not in the EU or the Schengen area, so border checks do happen (more frequently on the way out of Andorra than on the way in). Keep your passport or national ID card accessible.
- Do you also serve Grau Roig?
- Yes. Grau Roig sits just below Pas de la Casa on the same road, on the Andorran side of the Envalira pass, and we drop off at the hotel door there too.
- What happens if there is snow on the pass?
