- Does any bus go straight from El Prat to Platja d'Aro?

Moventis Sarfa's Costa Brava Centre coaches run from the airport and Barcelona Nord to Platja d'Aro bus station, calling at places such as Vidreres, Llagostera, Santa Cristina d'Aro, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and S'Agaró on the way. There's no train to Platja d'Aro. Departures aren't frequent, so check the current timetable and whether yours calls at the airport.
- We fly home during Platja d'Aro's carnival – could that affect our pickup?
- It can. The carnival runs over several days in February, and its Gran Rua parade brings thousands of participants and spectators into the streets of the resort, which can disrupt traffic in the centre. If your departure falls on parade day, tell us when booking: we'll agree a pickup point away from the route and build in extra margin.
