- No single train covers the whole trip. The airport's rail station, at Terminal 2, is served only by the Rodalies R2 Nord, while Mataró sits on the coastal R1. The usual link is a change at El Clot-Aragó, where both lines stop. Add the free shuttle bus if you land at T1, and check the current timetable, especially for late-evening arrivals.
- I'm flying out of Mataró during Les Santes — anything to know?
- Les Santes, Mataró's main festival, runs for several days around 27 July, which is a local public holiday. Parades, night-time events and the eve-of-festival celebrations close central streets at set hours, including La Riera and the area around Muralla del Tigre. If your pickup falls in festival week, send us the address early so we can choose a meeting point outside the closures.
