- Is there public transport from Barcelona Airport to Vilafranca del Penedès?
- Not a direct link. The usual route is the R2 Nord from T2 to Barcelona Sants, then the Rodalies R4 to Vilafranca; alternatively, the Aerobús into Plaça de Catalunya and the R4 from there. Allow roughly an hour and a half to two hours including the change, and check the current timetable and any service notices before you travel.
- We land on a Saturday morning. Anything to know about central Vilafranca?
- Yes: Saturday is market day. From 8:00 to 14:00, more than two hundred stalls fill the centre, including Plaça de la Vila, Rambla de Sant Francesc and Rambla de Nostra Senyora. If your hotel or flat is in that area, the driver may have to stop on the nearest open street, so give us the exact address and we'll plan the drop-off around it.
