Is there a bus or train between Castelldefels and the airport?

Both. AMB bus L99 links Castelldefels with Terminal 1, passing through Gavà and Viladecans. By rail, R2 and R2 Sud trains from Castelldefels or Platja de Castelldefels stations run to El Prat de Llobregat, where you change to the R2 Nord for T2. Neither runs through the night, so check the current timetable if your flight is very early or very late.
