QuickPickupsICE Barcelona presents itself as the world’s leading B2B event for the global gaming industry, and the numbers the organiser gives back that up: 65,000 attendees from 179 countries, more than 600 exhibitors and over 300 verified regulators. It is a working trip for almost everyone who attends, and almost everyone flies in.
The 2027 edition runs at Fira Gran Via from 18 to 20 January, at the heart of World Gaming Week (17–21 January).
Where ICE takes place
ICE fills Fira de Barcelona Gran Via on Avinguda Joan Carles I in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, the same venue as MWC and ISE. It is roughly 10 km and 10 to 15 minutes from Barcelona-El Prat Airport by road — one of the shortest transfers we run, and far easier than the metro with a suitcase and a laptop bag.
iGB Affiliate runs at the same venue on 19–20 January 2027.
Opening hours and when to travel
- Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 January 2027: 10:00–18:00.
- Wednesday 20 January 2027: 10:00–16:00.
- World Gaming Week, the wider programme around the show, runs from 17 to 21 January.
Hours come from the official ICE website; check them again before you travel, as they can change.
Why book a transfer
A show of this size brings tens of thousands of international visitors into the city in the same week, and the airport taxi rank feels it on arrival day and again when the show closes. A pre-booked transfer fixes the price before you fly, tracks your flight, and drops you at the right Fira entrance. Teams can travel together in a minivan with their stand material; for a bigger delegation, ask us for a minibus.
Tips for ICE week
- Book the arrival and the return together: departures cluster on the afternoon of the last day.
- Share your flight number so a delay is never a problem.
- Travelling as a team? A minivan keeps everyone and the materials together, with one invoice for the company.
- Tell us which hall or entrance you need when you book.
