Torre del Remei is a modernist mansion built in 1910 beside the Remei chapel in Bolvir. More than a century later it is a 24-room hotel with a restaurant, TR1910, a three-hectare garden with an outdoor pool, and the Hivernade, a glass greenhouse where couples hold wedding banquets with the Pyrenees in view.
A mountain valley, three hours by train
The Cerdanya is a high, wide valley that looks close to Barcelona once you are through the Cadí Tunnel. By rail it is a different story: the R3 to Puigcerdà takes around three hours from the city, with only a few trains a day, and it does not start at the airport. Bolvir has no station of its own, so even after the train you still need a car.
Arriving for a wedding in the Pyrenees
Wedding guests coming from abroad or from other parts of Spain usually land at BCN, often the day before the ceremony. A fixed-price transfer takes them straight to the hotel in about 1h45, with the flight tracked and 60 minutes of free waiting at arrivals. If they stay in another village in the valley, the same transfer can drop them there instead.
Practical tips
- In winter, mountain weather can slow the last stretch: leave a wider margin before the ceremony or a dinner booking.
- Staying in Puigcerdà or another village in the valley? Give us that address and we drive you there.
- For the return, book a pickup time that leaves room for the drive of about 1h45 plus airport check-in.
- Several guests on different flights can each book their own transfer; for several cars on the same day, contact us before booking.
