The Casamitjana family appears in Moià records as far back as the 15th century, and the present house dates from the early 1700s. Since its restoration it has been run as an exclusive-hire wedding venue: ceremonies and dinners move between the old barns (Els Graners), the central courtyard (El Barri), the threshing floor (L’Era) and the terraced garden (La Feixa), with the house itself sleeping the couple and their closest family.
A destination wedding, an hour from the terminal
Many of the guests at a wedding here are flying in from the UK and the rest of Europe, often on different flights over two or three days. The Moianès is a bus-only comarca: Sagalés lines link Moià with Vic, Manresa and Granollers, but none goes out to the masia, and taxis in a town of this size are few. Leaving each guest to work out that last stretch is the easiest way to start the weekend badly.
One booking per flight, each at a fixed price
Every guest or group can book their own transfer from BCN to the masia, matched to their flight number, with the fare fixed in advance. We track each flight and keep 60 minutes of free waiting at the airport, so a delayed arrival on Friday night does not become a problem for the couple. Send your guests the link and let them book directly.
Practical tips
- Guests staying in Moià or nearby rather than at the masia? Pickups at other addresses include 15 minutes of free waiting, so agree a clear time.
- Book the return to the airport for the morning after the wedding well in advance: local taxis are scarce on weekends.
- Flying into Girona instead? Our fixed-price online booking is built around Barcelona-El Prat; contact us to check other airports.
- Child seats are available on request for a small supplement.
