Port Vell, not Fira
The show takes over Port Vell, Barcelona’s old harbour at the bottom of La Rambla, with the boats in the water. It is organised by Fira de Barcelona, but it is not at Gran Via in L’Hospitalet nor at the Montjuïc fairground by Plaça Espanya, so do not let a search result send you to the wrong side of the city. On public transport it means the L3 or L4 metro and a walk along the waterfront — manageable, but not ideal with luggage.
Why book a transfer
A pre-booked transfer takes you from the terminal straight to Port Vell or your hotel for a fare fixed before you fly. It skips the metro change and the walk, and if you are flying in the same day we track your flight so a delay does not cost you the visit. Mid-October is a busy stretch for congresses and events in Barcelona, so booking your airport pickup ahead is worth it.
In 2026 the show’s closing weekend coincides with the first FIA WEC race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and with the start of UEG Week, a gastroenterology congress at Gran Via: one of the weeks of the year when cars are hardest to find.
