QuickPickupsBarcelona has two big congress venues, and they are at opposite ends of the city. Fira Gran Via sits in L’Hospitalet, a few minutes from the airport. The CCIB — Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona — is on Plaça de Willy Brandt in Diagonal Mar, next to the Fòrum and the sea, on the north-eastern edge of Barcelona. If your congress is here, plan the arrival accordingly.

Getting there
According to the CCIB’s own directions page, the nearest metro stop is El Maresme/Fòrum on line L4, less than five minutes’ walk away, and the T4 and T5 trams stop at Fòrum. The centre has no car park of its own — only public car parks nearby — and it has four entrances, A to D, so it is worth knowing which one your congress uses before you arrive.
Why a transfer makes sense here
From the airport the CCIB is a cross-city drive, and there is no direct train or metro from the terminal to its door. A pre-booked transfer takes you straight to the entrance you need, or to your hotel first, at a price fixed before you fly, with your flight tracked. Faculty, sales teams and delegations travelling together can share a minivan, or ask us for a minibus, with one invoice for the organisation.
Tips for a congress at the CCIB
- Double-check the venue on your registration: it is easy to confuse the CCIB with Fira Gran Via.
- Tell us which entrance (A to D) your congress uses so the driver stops in the right place.
- Staying near the Fòrum? We can pick you up from the hotel for the trip back to the airport.
- Share your flight number so we adjust the pickup if you land late.
