The city has its own airport, but it mostly runs seasonal routes, so for much of the year El Prat is the natural gateway. Reus deserves the visit in its own right: Gaudí was born here — the Gaudí Centre tells it well —, the modernist route stars Casa Navàs, and the vermouth culture has a name of its own.

- How do you get from El Prat to Reus by public transport?
- There are two main options, both slower than driving. Plana's coach leaves from T1 and T2 and can call at several Costa Daurada towns, such as Tarragona, La Pineda, Salou and Cambrils, before reaching Reus. By rail, you ride the R2 Nord to Barcelona Sants and change to a regional R14 or R15 for Reus station. Timetables vary by season, so check them before travelling.
- Is Reus Airport the same as Barcelona Airport?
- No, they're two separate airports. Reus Airport (code REU) sits about 3 km from the town, between Reus and Constantí, and is busiest from June to September. Barcelona–El Prat (BCN) is roughly 95 km away. This transfer starts at El Prat, so check that your boarding pass says BCN before booking; if you're landing at REU, you need a different journey.
