La Pineda lies about 108 km southwest of Barcelona Airport, a 75–95 minute drive on the AP-7 and A-7. It is a beach resort in the municipality of Vila-seca, on the Costa Daurada, right next to Salou and a step away from PortAventura World and PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park. With its long fine-sand beach and shallow waters, it is one of the most family-friendly destinations in the area. We drop you at your hotel or apartment door.

- Is there a train station in La Pineda?
- No. La Pineda belongs to Vila-seca, and the nearest station is Vila-seca, served by R14 and R15 regional trains from Barcelona Sants; the town's Bus Blau links the station with La Pineda. From the airport that means the R2 Nord to Sants first, so two changes in all. Plana's airport coach, from T1 and T2, stops in La Pineda without a change. Check current timetables.
- Is this the La Pineda near Salou or the one in Castelldefels?
- This route goes to La Pineda in Vila-seca, on the Costa Daurada next to Salou, around 108 km from the airport. Castelldefels also has a beach neighbourhood called La Pineda, only about 10 km from El Prat. If your booking mentions Vila-seca, Salou or Tarragona, you're in the right place; if it says Castelldefels, book the Castelldefels route instead.
