Mas Salagros was built around a historic Vallromanes farmstead and opened in 2015 as an eco resort: sustainable materials, energy-saving buildings, organic cooking and a thermal-bath circuit, all set in the protected woodland of the Serralada Litoral between the Vallès and the Maresme coast. It is the kind of place people choose for a short wellness break or a company retreat precisely because it feels far from the city — even though Barcelona is less than half an hour away.
No station, and a resort outside the village
There is no railway in Vallromanes. The usual public route from the airport is the train into Barcelona, a Rodalies R2 to Montmeló or Granollers (or R1 to El Masnou), and then a Sagalés bus up to the village. That is two changes and a bus timetable before you have even reached the riera road where the resort stands. With spa luggage, or arriving on an evening flight, it is easily the longest part of the trip.
A 40-minute drive, price agreed before you fly
A direct transfer turns all that into a single drive of around 40 minutes from arrivals to the resort entrance. The fare is fixed when you book, your flight is tracked, and if you land late you have 60 minutes of free waiting at the airport — so a delayed flight never costs you your first spa session.
Practical tips
- Booked a spa or treatment slot for your arrival day? Tell us the time and we plan the pickup with margin.
- Coming for a company retreat? Each attendee or small group can book their own transfer matched to their flight.
- Book your departure leg too: for pickups at the resort there are 15 minutes of free waiting, so be ready at the agreed time.
- Add your flight number when booking and we follow it automatically.
