QuickPickupsPalau Sant Jordi is Barcelona’s biggest indoor arena, built for the 1992 Olympics and designed by architect Arata Isozaki. In concert configuration it holds up to roughly 17,960 people, which makes it the natural stop for the biggest touring artists — and, right next door, the smaller Sant Jordi Club fills the gap for mid-size shows that would feel lost in the main arena.
Where it is
Both venues sit on Montjuïc hill, inside the Anella Olímpica alongside the Olympic Stadium and Barcelona’s athletics and swimming facilities. It is a genuinely scenic part of the city, but it is also a hill: reaching it means either the outdoor escalators from Plaça Espanya or a fair walk up Avinguda de l’Estadi, neither of which is fun with a flight-tired body or good concert shoes.
Why book a transfer instead of the metro
If you are flying in for the show, a private transfer from BCN goes straight to the arena door with your luggage handled — no need to check into the hotel first and backtrack. The bigger win is the way home: when a Palau Sant Jordi crowd of up to 18,000 people empties out at once, the Espanya metro station gets seriously congested and taxis are hard to flag down on the hill itself. A pre-booked transfer with an agreed meeting point skips all of that.
Big tours at the arena in 2026-27
Autumn 2026 brings Hombres G, Morat for two nights, The Strokes, Niall Horan and Pitbull to the arena, and Placebo, Fontaines D.C., Simple Plan and Joe Bonamassa to the Sant Jordi Club.
In January 2027 TINI plays three nights in a row and the K-pop group aespa brings its world tour to the arena.
In May 2027 Olivia Rodrigo plays four nights of The Unraveled Tour, and Gracie Abrams follows at the end of the month with two nights.

Residencies of several nights fill the hill night after night, so if you are coming for one of them, book the return pickup together with the arrival.
Tips for a Palau Sant Jordi night
- Agree your return pickup point before the show — Montjuïc is large and crowded once the doors open.
- Flying in the same day? Share your flight number so a delay does not cost you the doors.
- Group of friends? A minivan is cheaper per head than splitting rides after the show.
