Spotify Camp Nou, FC Barcelona’s stadium in the Les Corts district, has been undergoing one of the largest stadium renovations in Europe and is reopening in stages, with matches, the Camp Nou Experience tour and, increasingly, concerts returning as new sections come online. It remains one of the most visited sites in Barcelona whatever phase the works are in, and one of the busiest on any match day.
Where it is
The stadium sits in Les Corts, on the western side of Barcelona, well outside the old town. It is reachable by metro (L3 Palau Reial or L5 Collblanc, then a walk) but the interchange at Plaça Espanya or Diagonal is an extra step nobody wants with suitcases fresh off a flight, or on match day among a stadium-bound crowd.
Match days need planning
Road access around Les Corts narrows as kick-off approaches, and it narrows again, in reverse, the moment the final whistle blows and tens of thousands of fans head for the exits at once. A private transfer with an agreed pickup point avoids both crunches, at a fare fixed before you set off rather than a taxi meter stuck in stadium traffic.
