Baqueira Beret is Spain’s premium ski resort, tucked into the Val d’Aran on the far north-western edge of Catalonia. A long transfer from Barcelona
From Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) the drive is around 410 km and roughly four hours, climbing north-west through Lleida and over the mountains into the Aran valley. It is a scenic route but a demanding one, especially in winter, so a comfortable vehicle and an experienced driver make a real difference over four hours with ski luggage on board.
Which airport for Baqueira?
Geographically, the nearest airport is Toulouse-Blagnac in France, about 270 km away over the border. In practice many travellers still fly into Barcelona for the connections, the frequency and the fares — and that is the route we operate: a private transfer from BCN straight to your hotel in Baqueira, Salardú or elsewhere in the Val d’Aran, with room for skis, boards and boot bags no saloon boot could hold.
